Due for re-release in December, this motion relate is one of the finest science fiction films of the 20th century. The downside of this 2-disc version is that you are only getting the Final Lop version of the film and the documentary disc. You won't find the bonus disc of featurettes, the disc of past releases, and the workprint version of the film. The upside is that the 5-disc version of the film has some expensive packaging and promotional material included that seems to really raise the notice of the entire package.

Having seen this movie probably more times and in more different formats than most people, I plan it was time I write a few words about this masterpiece of filmmaking. Truly, I wasn't boasting with my assertion that I've seen this movie as worthy as I have (I contemplate this movie almost once a week and have done so for almost 10 years) . I possess several, level-headed unopened, VHS tapes that for a mammoth share of the nineties I did my best at collecting. I possess the Japanese Laserdisc version, a rare bootleg VHS version that was distributed over the internet a handful of years ago that has the narration selectively placed help into the Director's Slice version of the film, not called the Esper Version as some would want to stamp it, the Director's Carve and now the HD version of the Final Sever. That makes 5, but 6 if you count the Workprint version that comes with this box site. So, I would say that's one more than most.

Blade Runner first and foremost, is probably the greatest film ever made, from beginning to raze and in all of its variations. A dauntless statement when the film doesn't even harmful in the top 10 in the American Film Institute or on IMDb. Spots #97 and #104 respectively (ahem) . But as these kind of lists are subjective and truly under the control of mere mortals and their maintain outlandish whims, and I lift no offense that so many so-called aficionados have over-looked this film for so long. Roger Ebert slammed Ridley Scott and the film during the first theatrical release by stating that `Scott cared more about the lush environment of the film than he did of the story', which as we all know - and even Ebert now, in hindsight, has stated that he was unkind and grossly unfair to both Scott and the film.

For years, Blade Runner was divided into two different camps, or rather four and they are: Those that preferred the narration and those that did not and the other camp was those that belief Deckard was a Replicant and those that view he was either human or felt it was left ambiguous. Ridley Scott has very gracefully over the years, given homage to these thoughts and made many statements that most readers are aware of, chiefly - that Deckard was a Replicant. Unfortunately, due to the studios fingering with the film during post-production, Warner Brothers had the fair to well-kept anything after the 120 min stamp, and thus butchering the nuance of the film and leaving several things vague and forcing Scott to tack on the Gratified ending and the narration - because as we all know ... we're all unbiased too uninteresting to bag it.

The novel and most refreshing fragment of the recent argument, evinced in the 210 (wow!) min documentary `Dangerous Days' is that Scott gives equal time to those that enjoyed the film with the narration, with Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth / Hellboy) in the forefront, with his very candid telling of how Blade Runner changed his life and launched him down the road into filmmaking. We also secure to hear a very lucid and warm retelling from Harrison Ford of the nightmare that he not only endured making the movie but the further commitment of having to do the Speak Over narration months later, which ended up having its hold unique chronicle as well.

I would definitely recommend Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rea. She breaks up the workout into 3 sections approximately 15 minutes each, so you can do what you have time for. I feel large after doing the stretches. There are 3 woman who do the routine on tape, one for each trimester of pregnancy, so you always have someone to follow. The tape has gentle music in the background and a visually spellbinding backdrop for the class. While this may not sound necessary, it makes a sizable contrast when you are watching it 3 or more times a week.

The tape is hurry like a class, so you can honest build it in and go. You don't have to wait while someone explains the pose and then forms the pose.

My only criticism is that some poses are not explained that well. So if you are a beginner or have never done a pose, you may need some additional explanation that is not available on the tape.

Here's how I view they compared. (Tag that I do yoga and whisk regularly; while I savor dancing, I do not dance regularly. I'm not overweight.)

* Perfect Pregnancy Workout - 5 stars. Designed and narrated by a Cirque du Soleil acrobat (faint French accent), this video is my common of the three. The woman demonstrating the workout is about 8 months pregnant and in unbelievable athletic shape (visible muscle definition) . The theme of this video seems to be preparing for birth and staying strong and fit. It has two sections: (a) workout and (b) instructions.

(a) After a mercifully brief cheesy earth-mother introduction, the yoga-based workout is vigorous yet flowing and straightforward, building fabulous muscle strength, flexibility, and stamina. It includes squats, lunges, lots of ab work, lots of astronomical hip stretches, kegels, lots of different arm strengtheners. At the slay I am sweating, breathing harder, relaxed, and ecstatic. The next day my muscles are sore (in a obedient map) and feel stronger. The music is world-beat without vocals, easy to utilize to.

(b) The instructions allotment is reliable as well. My biggest gripe is that this video doesn't focus on serene continuous deep breathing, unlike the other two DVDs. Leisa is a perky actress who does infomercials. She is 8 months pregnant in this but her body looks very different (thin, wiry) compared to the woman's in Perfect Pregnancy (athletic) . The theme of this video seems to be feeling better (sexier) about oneself while pregnant. It has basically two sections: (a) workout and (b) bonus stretches.

(a) The workout is distinguished less vigorous than Perfect Pregnancy yet goes at a faster, more erratic hump than either of the other two videos. It has four parts: salsa dance, "yoga stout burn," labor and delivery prep, and prenatal stretch and relaxation. The dancing is about 8 moves repeated, with a few squats. I feel foolish and bored doing this. The yoga elephantine burn is more aerobics than yoga, includes ab work, squats, no twists, never holds any pose for long, is repetitive. Labor and delivery prep includes kegels (no proper explanation), many dead arm swings, ab work. Prenatal stretch and relaxation includes leg stretches, ab work, is repetitive. The music is salsa, soft rock, and world beat without vocals; very top-notch workout music, loud in places.

(b) The bonus stretches are the best allotment, but are buried under Special Features (the DVD doesn't seem very well organized) . These include leg, aid, hip and shoulder stretches actually held for several seconds, squats, plenty of fast expressionless arm swings.

All three videos explain women in different trimesters doing the exercises and mention appropriate modifications. All three videos define how to do the exercises safely and how to look warning signs of overdoing it.

Each DVD contains 5 fairy tales, and each fairy myth is about 10 minutes long and has its possess novel steal on the familiar stories. They are also changed to be less violent, nicer and more sterling for children (water balloon fights instead of guns) .

I'm an adult Sanrio collector and I loved seeing these episodes, and I would feel ample about letting my children gape these too.

The following is the list of the episodes in this DVD:
"Hello Kitty Saves the Day" contains Grinder Genie and the Magic Lamp, Peter Penguin, Tar-Sam of the Jungle, Paws of the Round Table, and Crocodile Penguin.

Unless you want your kids to hear Hello Kitty and her friends call one another "Dreary", "Dummy" and "Idiot", and threaten violence against one another "I'm gonna crush you like a grape", then this movie is not appropriate for young children. It seems like the villains in this series of short "furry tails" could be villainous without the hostile words and unnecessary violence. Each episode contains many incidents where one of the animals beats another unnecessarily and calls him/her plain names. There's not a single fair lesson, such as sharing, helping others, etc., in any of the episodes.

And what's worse, there are numerous jokes/inferences made throughout the series that go plan over kids' heads and offer no entertainment value. In fact, even from the perspective of pure infantile entertainment this video doesn't offer remarkable. The characters who are not mean are not really contributing anything to the stories either. There's one episode, in fact, based on the Crocodile Dundee movies from the eighties, the ones with Paul Hogan. What kid gets that? And the account only makes sense if you saw the movies it's inspired by. I score this unbiased lifeless dumb.

Now I'm looking for a hello kitty video that will believe some distinct child-appropriate entertainment. Wish me luck!
